According to the customer's request, KR can provide professional inspection and certification services for a naval business, throughout the entire life-cycle of a naval vessel from its construction to operation and ultimately, out of commission.
Integrated Portal System for History/Tracking Management of Naval Vessel & Equipment
• Providing Non-Stop service from planning to on-site inspection
• A specialized portal system dedicated to managing new and exist naval vessel’s inspection as well as MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) operations.
• “NSAP(Naval Vessel Safety Assurance Program)" for comprehensive management of inspection performance
• Providing updated inspection services through integration between Naval Vessel and Merchant Ship
• Standardization and normalization for ship inspection results
e.g. Inspection reports, Certificates of conformity, and Confirmations, etc.
KR provides Construction Survey(CS) services including ‘plan approval’, ‘Inspection during construction’ and ‘Equipment inspection’ for the naval business using KR’s global presence (15 Republic of Korea offices, 51 offices worldwide) to provide those services at the customers’ convenience.
KR’s Condition Assessment Program (N/SS/P-CAP) is a fully customizable program that provides a life cycle management suite of engineering and inspection services for naval vessels, Submarines and police vessels.
From 2010 to the present, we have conducted N/SS/P-CAP on over 200 naval vessels and 10 submarines and are contributing to the improvement of safety and combat performance of naval vessels and submarines by conducting safety inspections, finding defects, and recommending improvements.
KR plans to perform a ‘Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO)’ following the completion of a Naval Vessel overhaul by a shipyard. MRO enable naval vessels to be restored and repaired, ensuring they are in optimum working condition during missions. Naval vessels are regularly subjected to routine repair works to help upgrade them with new capabilities and increase their service life.
KR is contributing to improving the safety of divers and equipment performance by providing ‘Diving Integrity Survey (DIS)’with technical rules and inspections of the Navy's diving equipment.
